I am currently using my Cuttlebug to cut my Nestabilities. But it seems to be wreaking havoc with my cutting plate. It makes huge indentations and I feel like every time I crank the sandwich through I am going to crack the plate. Can anyone help me?? Is that normal?? How long will my cutting plate last like this?? Does anyone know if it's better to use the Nestabilities with the actual Wizard? Thanks!!
Mine did that at first too, when using the c plate as instructed and I did break 2 b plates. After the second one I decided to use the 2 B plates like I normally would for the Cb dies, just that I had to shim it up with cereal box weight cardboard. Now it cuts just right without the nestabilities embedding themselves into my B plate.
Hope this helps you.

I use the nesties with my CB,..right from the first i have not had any probs. my plates look like they have been through the war..lol..but no cracks or breaks..just cut up..i turn and flip and rotate my b plates often.
Even when using my dies and embossing folders...hope this eases your mind a bit..good luck..i love using them..loves ya

Nestabilities dies "stick" themselves into my Cuttlebug plates too. Like Gail, mine look like they have been through a war. But none have broken. I may check out Kim's idea to see if a cereal or Kleenex box would give good results. I have about 25 or 30 more nativity images to cut into circles tonight.

I broke a B plate the first time I tried them too. I was getting frustrated because everyone was raving about Nestabilities and I thought I was the only person that just couldn't get them to work...... that was about 3 wks ago. I gotta tell you, I got them to work this morning,,,,,, I even got them to emboss fairly well. I used the stacking order from Papertrey. I was shocked that it really worked. I didn't hear any cracking or anything. hang in there, they are really fun once you get them figured out.
I am new to the cuttlebug and use mine just for embossing. I have been leery of using it for cutting because of problems I have heard about. Can you explain what you meant by "stacking order from Papertrey". I am not familiar with "Papertrey". Thanks for your help.
Not sure what sandwiches you are using. But here is some that are tried and true to work. Hope this might help.
CuttleBug
Cutting Stack
1. A plate
2. C plate
3. Spellbinders die face up ( rough side up)
4. paper or cardstock
5. B plate
Embossing Stack
1. A plate
2. B plate
3. die face up (with die cut still in die)
4. 3 pieces of cardstock
5. 1 Spellbinders tan polymer mat
6. 2nd B plate
For the mats that I used in my Wizard, if I find my dies sticking a lot, I just rub a tiny bit of baby powder on them. Doesn't hurt the Spellbinders dies or my mats. But again, I use the Spellbinders Wizard. And for the record, my mats are all "chewed" up from using the dies. That just happens. Those metal ridges have to go somewhere. LOL.
Hope this helps.
