I've been picking a few Copics here and there in the last month, but I finally sat down Sunday and stamped a whole page of MFT Feelin' Fruity.
Now, this is the fourth night in a row that I've come home and colored, colored, colored... hey, it's practice, and I need plenty of it....
But the surprising part for me, is that even after coloring the umpteenth pear, I still grin EVERY time I finish. What is it about somewhat shaded (still can't figure out the "light" thing), but smiling fruit??
I'm addictive AND I don't want a cure... not quite yet, anyways. Please help me by giving ideas or links to cards with Feelin' Fruity. I've already looked at the MFT gallery here at SCS.
And look at it now. I signed off. Watched some tv and then "they" called me. (The orange slices and the apples.)
"Just going to color in a few and do something else. Like laundry." But I colored and I put some diamond stickles on the orange slices so they look like the candied orange slices. (Saw someone here on SCS do that.) Yummy! Green and red apples. Delicious. And the best thing? They're calorie-free.
I know the feeling. I loved to color when I was little and I liked to do it even through my teen years and having a 2 year old brother when you are 18 makes it easy to get away with it (we have the same parents, he's somewhat of a miracle) but now I don't feel guilty about coloring at all like I kind of did then. So little time so much to color. ;)
i love it too... i HATED colouring as a kid, but i guess it was a combination of i didn't get shown how to colour properly, AND I didn't have copics!! haha..

I love coloring but I'm just not very good at it. Maybe I just need to practice more.
I think my blending and shading is so-so, but I have the worst time staying within the lines. I've been cutting out my images once they are colored- looks SO much nicer!
My set of 12 copics arrived a few days ago from Joann's. I used a 50% coupon, so it was a great deal!! Even with paying the shipping! But I haven't broken them out and used them yet!! I'm afraid!!

I have been doing a lot of coloring too... I forgot how much fun it is! My latest "thing" is coloring with Tombow markers and water... and using my Copics, of course.
I emboss all my images with Versafine ink and detail clear embossing powder before I color them. It really helps me stay in the lines when I color or watercolor and it really makes the colors pop!

Can I do the same with Memento Ink or does the Versafine stay "wet" longer so the embossing powder sticks?
