I love all of my MS punches. I especially like the " Multi-Pattern Ribbon Threader" . You can punch various patterns of slots to thread ribbon through.

I really love these two puches together: 3-In-1 Hydrangea and the larger single Hydrangea. You can leave them as is, layer them, and accent with pearls or rhinestones. I think those two punches are a super value for all you can do with them. Did I mention that they make great cards? I used mine for a bridal cake card. I've also seem them used as blossoms on branch stamps. Bunching them together like a real hydrandea is fantastic too.

I love them all, but use the layering Daisy quite a bit. It makes wonderful flowers if you layer two.

Default MS punches

I should have clarified by asking which "border punch" you use the most.

I only have two border punches. and want to pick another one that would be multi purpose. I presently have the doily and the arches. So far do not have any of the ones that come with a corner punch.

The only one I purchased and hardly use is the cornflower, perhaps I should try using it for a sun.
I also have a snowflake ( artic) I think which I use a lot and like to use two together for stamens in paper flowers.

Thanks for any other suggestions.

I don't think there is an "all purpose" punch. If you always make very feminine cards then Botanical Scallop or Lattice heart may be useful. If you make more contemporary cards the single or double loop edge would work.

The Punch Around the page set for "Loops" is quite versatile as the corner punch alone looks very nice or you can use it in conjunction with the co-ordinating edge punch to make a punched square or rectangle.

It depends on the style of card and the person you are making it for as to which punch would look the best .

I don't really find myself using the all around punches that much. The ones I love and use to death are older edge punches - cornice and stars.

The cornice is great because it is simple and that means that it can punch thicker paper. MS punches can get too delicate and makes it impossible to punch heavier weight paper.

The stars can be used for Christmas, 4th of July, or any celebration. I print inside card sentiments from the computer and then edge them top and bottom with the stars and glue on the inside of the card.

Bought the spider web double edge punch and the supposedly "around the page" corner punch of the same name (different packages though) and they don't work together at all!

However, I have the cherry blossom set (around the page) and the deep edge iron fence and love them both.

Default MS punches

I went, I saw , I bought. Not much to choose from at our Mikes with that 50% off Coupon everyone now has .

I did look at the border punches, but being a butterfly kind of girl I went for the Monarch Butterfly punch. I think it might be quite nice either in vellum or with a bit of glitter.

Still have 2 more 50% off on Martha product so will go back next week. I wish her christmas punches were out now.
