I just made some cards using my faithful MISTI. Even with dye inks and clear stamps, the impression with restamping is so nice and solid:
I just used my MISTI to properly stamp some super solid images from one of my favourite PTI sets, Leave it Be. Love this tool's versatility!

Default just ordered one

I must say I have sworn by Fiskars stamp press for years. I have the large one that I do not use too much, but the 2 medium size are well used to the point the sponge feet are almost worn off, so I just ordered another and also the 3 x 5 inch. They should be here today. But I was really intrigued by this, so I just have to have I am calling it an early 2015 Christmas present. Can't wait to get it.

I probably have 1200 or more stamps. A lot were responsible rubber wood mount. I removed then all from the wood block by placing the stamp wood and all in the microwave, start with about 8 seconds and then check, if not able to remove because glue has not released then increase time by a few seconds. The bigger the stamp the more seconds it takes, just don't start out with too much time, you don't want to burn and ruin the stamp

I saw MercyTiara use the MISTI on a scrapbook layout in Oct. 2014 (at about the 24:00 mark). I was intrigued by it and after reading all these reviews, it will probably be my next purchase. Thanks!!

For those anxiously waiting on their MISTI, Iliana posted on Facebook about an hour ago that she was up to invoice #2064. She has been packing all week.

How interesting - using the outside of it instead of the inside!
FYI the MISTI section starts at about 23:33

I now have a love/hate relationship with MISTI. Love what it can do, but because of it I am probably going to have to start unmounting my 250+ wood mounted SU sets. I'd convinced myself it wasn't necessary, then went to make a card using SU "All Wrapped Up". I was trying to position 2 of the fish in the bag without them touching each other or the edge of the bag. It's possible, but not easy without MISTI. I was CASEing this card:

One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish by shutterbug2124 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I also had trouble getting the bag to stamp completely with all the lines and edges inked nicely. Looks like I've got quite a job ahead of me. Fortunately, I never did get around to mounting probably half the sets in the first place. For once, procrastination is my friend. lol

I'm so excited because my MISTI will arrive tomorrow!! It's a late Christmas present from Santa. I got a note in my stocking telling me it was coming and would be delivered by an elf in blue! Can't wait

I love SCS! I ordered one on Jan 1, and just checked her website to see if there was an update as to when the next shipments might go out. Couldn't find anything so I came here - I'm #2662. So I see progress, although it may still be a bit. I've wanted one for months and finally decided I should bite the bullet, and just get one.

I am so looking forward to it!

Iliana has worked through to invoice# 2214 this weekend. I don't know what # she started out at this week but packed at least 300 this weekend. She must be exhausted. Can't imagine what printer ink is costing her & is NOMB, just thinking out loud. Wonder if the postal service runs when they see her coming...LOL Glad her business adventure is successful for her.

Iliana posted this a Facebook a short time ago, "I made it all the way to 2321. I would have kept going but I need red ink for the postage meter. Plus a bowl of cereal for dessert is sounding good. I have about 90 left to pack. I will drop these babies at the post office in the morning and resume packing after homeschool lessons are done."

Hey Lydia your #2616 isn't that far off...LOL

I don't do social media either. I just go to her blog and click on her link to her Facebook page. you can see comments there. The last she posted about #'s was on 1-11 and she was at 2321 and had about 90 more to do. She doesn't have anymore after that. If I remember correctly it will be end of the month before the manufacturer will be shipping more to her and then he will ship every week. HTH

Here's the link to her Facebook page

i have my Misti and it is brilliant. just wanted to boast - no not really. Comment for those in Australia. Remember our grid or graph paper is different. I went to Office Works and bought the 5mm lines and of course its different to the grid on the misti as that is in inches.

So either order a pad when you order the Misti but that will take postage up or you can download the grid layout free from Illiana's website and just print up and cut to size. We can also get the cleaner she recommends here in Australia, reasonable price just need to use your own spray bottle as it only comes in the squirt bottle.
