Default Which MISTI to buy?

I’m considering buying a misti stamp positioner, which size is most usable? I make cards and scrapbook and I can’t decide if the original or the scrapbook size is best. Thoughts?

For cards, the original for sure. Do you scrap in a 12x12 format?

Yes I scrap only in 12x12. I. Trying to decide which is better to invest in since together it would be$160 and for 2 tools that seems outrageous.

I don't scrapbook but, if I did exclusively 12 x 12, I would probably invest in the large MISTI. I make cards and other items and use the smallest MISTI most of the time. I only use the regular size if I'm stamping something larger than a card front. You may want to consider the largest and smallest, rather than the largest and regular, as you could use the small one for most of the cardmaking, and the largest for instances that you needed something larger and for your scrapbooks. Whichever way you decide to go, I consider these "investment" tools, and money well spent.

I have two regular-size MISTIs. My main issue with them is that I like top-fold cards that are portrait orientation...so the card base is 11x4-1/4. Sometimes I wish I had a memory MISTI.

I think I would go the route of the big one...if you do a lot of stamping directly on your scrapbook pages. Cards are always possible in that size, regardless of the size of your card base.

Then, if you decide you want one that is smaller at a later time, then you can choose which size is more desirable based on how you stamp in the large one.

well, you probably do want to hear my answer but, I have three of the original size and one of the 12X12 size. I do not own any of the Mini's as I believe most of my cards will not fit into it.

I tend to make cards larger than A2 so, for me if I am doing a stack of card fronts I can set up this stamp in one and that stamp in another but, the finished cards say A7 will fit into a memory Misti without creasing the card if you want a sentiment on an edge.

I have not scrapped in years.
