Default Memory Box Grand Heart die?

I have the intricate Memory Box La Rue heart die and am wishing that I'd bought the coordinating solid heart (Grand Heart, item # 98254) back when I bought La Rue. It seems that MB is no longer making the Grand Heart, but does have several different multi-size heart die sets that look like they *might* be the same heart shape. There are some in plain, stitched, etc. Unfortunately, the website doesn't state whether they coordinate.

Does anyone happen to have the La Rue die as well as any of these newer Memory Box heart dies to know if they're actually the same shape? I've added a picture here of the lacy La Rue die and a sample of the types of other sets that I'm hoping might be a match. Thanks!

I only have the La Rue heart, not those newer ones, but the picture looks to me that the heart shape is elongated? Could you email Memory Box and ask what solid heart would fit the La Rue?
Just Googled, and this place , Just Imagine Crafts, are showing having it in stock. You could also ask MB if they know any stockist that has any- maybe they even have some left themselves?

According to the MB website, the La Rue dimensions are 3.4 by 3.7 inches.

I know what you mean about slightly different fits. I believe MB has several different "families" of decorative hearts, and so it's important to get a solid that's from the same line of shapes.

Good ideas, thanks!

I have the LaRue heart base but not sure how it compares with their other heart dimensions. If you need some cardstock cuts of the heart outline i could send you some in reds, pinks or whites or whatever. Just PM me.

Thank you for the offer, Mary, that's very kind of you!

I may be getting close to figuring out a solution with my Silhouette Cameo (I've been cutting La Rue hearts and scanning the leftover space -- just have to sort out importing the image at the correct size).

A die would be handier, but at least I'm learning some new tricks with my cutting machine!
