Default martha stewart around the page punch

Anyone have any luck in trying to make a card with this? I'm wanting to make a 6x6 or 4.25x5.5 card, but can't make it work. Is this punch only for scrapbook pages?

TIA, Janet

Here's one link with some samples, there is a pdf that has the measurements you have to use to get it to come out perfectly

Okay I have a question regarding these punches now that I've seen this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7p1p5yV2NpI

I bought the spider web corner as well as the border separately but according to this video it won't make the punch around the page unless the packaging has the green border at the bottom with the description on the back? Or is that packaging new? I didn't notice when I opened it to make sure it worked if it had the line ups as she shows in the video.

Boy will I be a little mad if I find out mine I already bought don't do this. Can someone please put my mind to rest? LOL

They are sold separately as well as together but where I bought mine they are sold separately. Anyone else wondering the same thing or figured this out. My punches are not accessible at the moment or I'd play with them to make sure they do indeed punch around a page.
