Default Make the Cut with Cricut

Anyone use Make the Cut with the cricut? I just read about and downloaded the trial version. It looks awesome but wondering how it work in real life. Have you used it? Would you recommend it? Any flaws?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dolores,
I have MTC and love it What I would suggest for you is to join one of the MTC yahoo groups while you are in trial version. You will see what problems people are experiencing with the program, what the program does and how to use it. That's what I did before I made my decision. If you find MTC is not for you, you can just unsub.

The folks on the MTC site board are also very nice and helpful so you can poke around in there too. There are tons tuts posted.

Hope this helps,
Lindy

I have SCAL along with MTC...LOVE them both!!! Did you buy the Mac version or are you running it through Parallels?

I haven't tried loading it onto my Mac..I'm not sure if it runs ok through parallels and I refuse to pay for it twice in order to get the Mac version. I bought the windows version before the Mac version came out. :(

I have Make the Cut and I love it! I ordered mine from Designing with Die Cuts since I got 6 free cutting files from them. It's amazing! I use my Cricut so much more now!

Check out my blog. I have a page at the top called Places to Get Digital Cutting Files. There are TONS of free cutting files that are gorgeous! My top two sites are Mamaw's Legacy and Penny Duncan Creations.

I also found a scanner at a garage sale this weekend for $5 so I can now scan anything and make it into a cutting file! Your options will be endless!
