Liquid pearl v. Stickles
Has anyone used both, and have a preference?

I've used both and they are totally different animals. I'd only bother getting the pearl colored Liquid Pearls. And now I easily have 15 or so Stickles. THe Sticles is just the easiest way to use glitter. Alot or a litlle. You can use a brush to paint it on or jst stick with the tip. I love both LP and Stickles for inside Primas.

It's like apples and oranges.
Stickles are glitter glue but really, really awesome. They flatten out when they dry and you're left with really sparkly glitter in whatever color you've used.
Liquid Pearls aren't sparkly like stickles and you can't see through them. They're like small pearls when they harden in the color that they came in. Very cool.
I have all the colors of both and would recommend getting the Stickles and maybe a few of the Liquid Pearls--the light, pastel colors only!

I would agree - liquid pearls vs stickles is like comparing apples and oranges.. Stickles are fabulous for adding glitter - and come in all kinds of colours...
Liquid pearls create small dots that are pearlescent - hence the name. I have just one colour - white - and it's lovely - but I really don't use it much - but stickles I use very often - and have nearly every colour. Even the seeming non coloured stickles- diamond, crystal, etc etc have a bit of slight colour to them .. Stickles are great!

When I want to have glitter on my card I reach for my Stickles. I to have several of the colors. I hate using regular glue and the glitter. The glitter gets everywhere and even after it has dired it still flakes off. Stickles stays on the card where it belongs!.

I've never seen them at the big box stores.
You can get them at Remember When: http://www.shoprememberwhen.com/page/page/4961603.htm
She just got in the new Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint too.

Has anyone tried coloring the white pearls with re-inkers?? That would be cool.

I use both products on cards but my favorite use of the liquid pearls is on gift tags....I use them as an accent on any size shipping style tags or metal tags (usually around the edge). Sometimes I make a dozen or so tags and give those as gifts. (Another tip for the tags...replace the regular string and add your own ribbon or fiber). I think I have all the colors of L.P. As for the Stickles, my favorite thing to do is use them on birthday candles in any birthday cake stamped image.

I love both but use the Stickles everyday on almost everything. The liquid pearls is more a specialty product I rarely use but still like.
