Provo Craft sells a 4' cord for $15.

Many people have had luck taking the short cord to Best Buy (or a similar store) and asking about a longer cord with the right ends. I was surprised to read that because I thought the ends were special for the Cricut, but apparently it's a rather common computer hook-up thingie.

Someone said she got one at Target (or WalMart, not sure which).

I think the "common" cord that people were finding is the A/B USB cord that hooks the computer to the Cricut machine (for use with Design Studio). The cord for the Jukebox is a little different. It's the cable itself that is also pretty unique, as my hubby was going to try to make me a longer cable. He said the cable itself is kind of spendy unless you are buying it in bulk.

So... you can either purchase a longer cord from PC or you can buy one of the Jukeboxes that comes with a longer cord. (I bought a jukebox with the longer cord.) It sure is handy to have that one long cord.

The longer cord the ladies were buying was for their Jukeboxes. I'm very sure of that. I'll see if I can find the thread on the Cricut message boards. One gal got hers at Best Buy.

There is also a gal there whose husband will take your short cord and make it longer for $15. What you do is send him your short cord, he alters it (removed the ends and attaches them to 4' of computer cord), and mails it back to you. (Sounds like something you might be able to do yourself?)

For the same $15, though, you could buy the 4" cord from PC and have both a long and a short.

Or you could take your short cord into Best Buy or a siilar store and ask for help.
