I've had it!!!
I ordered the Cuttlebut Swiss Dots many weeks ago, and I still haven't received it - not to mention they already charged my credit card for it. I wanted the Swiss Dots so bad!
So I decided to make my own dots embossing template with a metal sheet and Crop-A-Dile Big Bite. It's not as perfect as Cuttlebug's, but I'm very happy with the result!
You can see how I did it and the cards that I made with it here:

WOW, you really wanted that folder! That must have taken you some time to do, but the results are fantastic. The embossing really looks nice (so do your cards). Great use for the big bite-way to go!

You know what? I just bought an extra one that I was going to cut up to make strips of dots but I will willingly give it to you. PM me and send me an address. I'm in Knox. You should be able to have it by about Tues. I admire your creativity with making your own.

Thank you all ladies! I ordered my Swiss Dots from Oh My Crafts. But I also ordered a pre-order item with it, so I think that's why it's taking so long. I'm not angry at OMC, but I just couldn't stand waiting....

Wow! I am impressed.
You are woman, hear you roar!
Your folder turned out great. And, it is just enough different from the Swiss Dots that I'll bet you keep using it even when you get the "real" one.

Wonderful! I have wanted that one as well and online it is over $6.00 with shipping. I found it at a Mennonite stamp shop in Ephrata, PA for $3.25! Wild! I grabbed it and Fantasy Floral for that great price.

I have ordered from Oh My Crafts before and had same thing to happen. Sometimes they have things listed, they don't have in stock and have to order.
One great place to order from is www.allthatscraps.com She is fabulous and orders over $25 are shipped free. I am not affiliated with her only a customer. But she is Grrreeeaaaatttttt!

I just got the Swiss Dots Embossing folder you sent me, Jill! Thank you so very much That's one of the kindest things somebody has ever done for me through SCS. I'll make sure to "pay it forward" in the near future. I always believe in good karma, and I know it will go back to you tenfold! God bless
