I'm going crazy searching
I am searching for the brand of the very stick double sided tape that has the red liner you peel off. I have searched every name, description and location I can think of. Does anyone know the brand name? or if you used that brand, and like some other brand equally well, please let me know.
TIA

Try google searching red liner tape. I have a whole row of images. There's some from thermoweb, crafter's companion, American Crafts, recollections, Aleene's...
Is the specific one you're thinking of the one from Kool tak, maybe?

That's how I found it, too (Google search "red liner tape")...

I searched red liner tape and got millions of images and some odd websites. None of these are the brand I bought a couple of years ago. I have a roll that is 1 inch wide, and just finished my roll of 1/4" wide. ....I just got to a Youtube video and the lady mentioned Sticky Strip and Wonder Tape. That was it! I got to an image of the package and it's Range Inkssentials. I think they don't make it now; it's not on the Ranger website. But I see some on Amazon.
I wonder if Aleene's red tacky tape is as strong.

Frantic Stamper says they have one roll each of the 1/4" and 1/2" wonder tape in stock.

Sticky Strip was Stampin' Up!'s version of red liner tape but it's been replaced by Tear & Tape, which is a paper tape. It works great and any SU! demo can help you out. It's available in 1/4" only.
I have purchased from Scor-Pal.com, which sells Sookwang tapes. These are also paper tapes that are sold in as many widths as you could possibly want. And Diana is a well-trusted business owner. Try it.
Why am I suggesting paper tapes when you're asking about red liner? They are just as sticky IMO and it is so much easier to get the paper to "leave" your fingers than the red liner, which is soooo static-y.

I'm with Linda. I quit with the red liner (Sticky Strip) because the static was a big issue, but it was also very difficult to get off the tape without lifting the tape off the paper and tearing.
My tapes are the Sookwang tapes and they are great.
Also, I love that I don't have to grab scissors with every piece. It tears when I want to tear it.

Thank you, Emily! If anyone know a product that is as strong as Wonder Tape (for boxes, bags, etc), please let me know. It appears that it will soon disappear from the earth!
I have some white tape on a roll that can be torn, but I think it's not super strong. I'm sure there are differences in the brands.

Linda and Diane, I cut all my tape anyway. But I have not had problems with static on my little projects. I don't buy a lot of SU because I think it's more expensive than other stores, and the minimum shipping is too much for small items...for me.
THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR HELP!

Do you mean the Ranger Inkssentials Wonder Tape? I have some in various widths and it is super-sticky and heat resistant. You peel the red liner off and the tape is clear. I use it for sticking down stuff that ordinarily doesn't work too well with regular doublesided tapes - like glitter cardstock on the glitter side. I checked online and it seems to still be readily available.

Kate from i {heart} papers used to sell the red line tape. She still has it in her Etsy shop here: It's quite a bit of tape for the price, and it sticks to everything. Love that stuff!
