I went into Michaels this morning with my coupon deciding what to buy when I walked by the cuttlebug which wasn't on sale. I checked my coupon and it said you couldn't buy Cricut items. I thought I'd ask and sure enough, the manager said I could get the cuttlebug! I'm so excited! I've been wanting it for awhile!!
Congrats on your purchase! I got mine at Michaels with the 40% coupon and was all prepared to put up a fight when I got to the register with it because of the whole Cricut thing (it's from the makers of Cricut but is not a Cricut product), but they took it with no problems. I was so excited I practically skipped to the car. Have fun playing with your new toy! I LOVE mine!!
I got mine 50% off, too!! AND.... I got a Sizzix alphabet(OK, I got three of them!... and 2 number sets...) on clearance. The Fun Serif alphabet usually goes for $149.99 and I paid $19.99; I got upper and lower case Doodle Block alphabets for $9.00 each! I was so excited I think it acted as anesthesia for the root canal I was on my way to have!
So look around-- your Michael's might have some Sizzix on clearance, too!
Yay! I got a Cuttlebug at Michael's today with my 50% off coupon also!! I, too, was prepared for a fight, but there was no problem!! Now I'm off to play!!!!
I want one really badly but they are not sold overseas (we have an APO address). The cheapest online price I can find is $60 and then there is shipping...

I went to their site for embossing folder and die cuts for my Cuttlebug (great prices!) and found their shipping to be EXTREMELY high! I emailed them about it, so we'll see what they say!:confused:
So, are you saying that Micheal's will have a 50% off coupon the weekend of September 21st? It would be worth a special trip, an hour for me. Do they have a good selecyion of the embossing folders? How do you get the coupon? ;)
This is a reliable site to order from and I have used them in the past. They have the Cuttlebug on sale right now and it includes a special extra set of embossing folders.
The price is $47.99 plus $3.50 shipping which is really a good deal. You would spend more than that in gas to drive to a Michaels which is an hour away. Plus you would have to pay tax at Michaels. Check it out:
I did the same thing! I went in thinking I was going to look at the Xyron Wishblade < all X on sale for 40% off this week > but then came across the cuttlebug! .. THe cashier started to say they can't take the coupons for Cricut, but when I said It's by the makers of cricut, but isn't a C product, she said well let's see.. and then Hey it worked.. good buy! I had to agree =)
