Default How to get a smooth "pearl dot" with liquid pearls?

Question for anyone using liquid or dimensional pearls: How do you get a nice, smooth, ROUND dot? I see them on cards but can't figure out how to get them to dry like that. They come out with little "Hershey kiss" tops; when I shake the paper a little to round them, the dots fall into a flatter, more brad-like shape.

Help?

Jennifer McGuire demonstrated it in a video she did...

and Kristina Werner demonstrated it on her site too.

Once you see how they did that, you will have a 'duh' moment - I know I did!!

I just flick the bottom of my card with my fingers, works like a charm for me! I'll have to look at the tutorials and see if I'm missing something else
