Default How do you decide which washi tape patterns to purchase?

I rarely follow trends but I am loving the washi tape one!!! I get overwhelmed on etsy.com and other sites trying to figure out which tapes to get that I will get the most use out of and end of buying none (I only have 3 rolls currently). Any tips? Or do you feel that it doesn't have to match your project any so you just buy what you like? Thanks!

What I do is ... when I see a card I love... I save an image of it and when I have time, I try to duplicate it. So, look back at your favorite cards that use Washi Tape and get those tapes. It works for me!

I buy what I like . If I like the pattern or tone of the color or I just know I like it when I see it, then I know I'll use it and it probably goes with other items I have, like cardstock colors, patterned paper, etc.

If you like bright colors and graphic designs, then that's probably what you'll like to use in washi tape too. Same thing for earthy colors and nature themes, etc.
