Default HELP! Looking for Carl Cutter Replacements

Hello All You Wonderful, Helpful People! I hope you can help me. I've spent the afternoon all over the web trying to find a place to order replacement mats and blades for my Carl Cutters. I even called them in Illinois and had to leave a message! I live in Northern Wisconsin (which is why I can't find anything), and the few places I did find online want $12 - $15 just for shipping. If anyone knows of a place close to me or a cheaper way, I certainly would appreciate it. I've been using the same ones now for 4-5 years. I do believe it's time to replace them! Thanks in advance.

www.oozak.com carries Carl products and other things too - I think they may have free shipping if you spend $50 or more which has never been a problem for me

Have you tried office supply places? I know that Staples & Office Max carry a few scrapbooking supplies. I bought a Carl cutter (RT 200) at Office Max and they had the fancy cut blades besides the straight one.

Default blades

I've always been able to find the blades and the strips at Staples.

Is this the straight cutter blade, or the rotary? If it's the straight, good luck finding them. I went through this about a year ago (I even posted here about it) and was not able to find just the replacement blades ANYWHERE! I finally gave up and bought another trimmer, one that I can find the replacement blades easily!
LMK if you find them, I still have my Carl trimmer, just no blades....

By the way, if you have one of the higher grade models (DC), it comes with a spare blade in the storage receptacle on the trimmer.

I got the replacements from Oozak as well, and much cheaper than my local Staples. Plus my staples doesn't stock the decorative blades. Add a few copics into my Oozak order, and everything was perfect!

Wonderful! I am so glad someone started this thread, I had searched online office supply places and placed an order (with very high shipping charges) and never received my stuff. I am going to oozak right away. My blades are shot, I have to trim every piece of cardstock with scissors after I cut in on my Carl.

another shout out for staples... the one I go to will even order them for me if they aren't in stock when I go in, and since I have their rewards card, it's free shipping directly to my house, AND I get them the next day! Even the stores don't get restocked that quickly!
