Default Help identifying an old die, and how to use it.

Hi ladies, a crafter in a group I'm in on FB has a set of dies from many years ago, but no idea what it's for, or how to use it. Bought many, many years ago, so no idea of the brand, or the packaging which may have explained it. I'm just wondering, on the off chance, if any of you can identify it, and tell her how to use it?

The first image is the die set, the second after cutting. It cuts parts, and creases two lines.
Thanks for any help you can give.

is that the kaisercraft create a card die??? they come in all kinds of shapes and can be used in either orientation???

I could be TOTALLY wrong its a complete guess!

they had ones that were square circle snowflakes everything!

trouble is i have seen them being sold only last year but also saw them 5 years ago! so i am most likely wrong - i dont actually have any but theyre on my wish list - a store had them for like $5 last year however they never wrote on their website when their sale finished and u know choosing is a bit hard LOL and they had all these sections 3 for x 2 for y and it was really confusing as to whether i had 2 or 3 or what! So by the time i tried to sort it i never ended up getting them but they are on you tube

sorry if this is wrong just a guess by the way that the card looks it reminds me of them!

Looks like it's an edge die, and the images are Christmas bulbs. I have some bulb dies that resemble them, but not the edge-die part. I bet you could find a you tube video, looking up the kaisercraft die now that 'emck' gave us a name..

They look Christmas ornaments to me.

I'm wondering if it's a flip card die? If she tries folding the creases in different ways, so one crease is folded forward and one is backward the result might be this. Not having the die cut to fool around with, I'm not sure...but she could give it a try.

The metal looks like Spellbinders to me. ..onion ornaments and it looks like a flip die to me too.

I assume Shaz surfed for it and now I did too quite a bit...I will say this...I could not find any kind of onion ornament flip die/card so I personally suggest keeping it if there is any question about it. That plump shape will be great imho for many things-layering and sentiments and just tons of stuff. Maybe someone will get lucky and find it.

Definitely a flip-fold card.

Back in 2013 SU make some dies for cards like these, although they included the cutting for the outside of the card as well. THIS is a site that shows how the card and die worked.

With the dies you show, one would have to fine-tune the size of paper to put the flip-fold die on and where to place it.
