Do you have any of the colorless blending solution? If not, try rubbing alcohol.
I used the rubbing alcohol and it worked! Oh thank God! I almost had a heart attack. Thank goodness Mom's away for the weekend. I'm just going to flip the cushion over and never tell her.
The blender pen would have worked too. I dropped a black Sharpie with the lid off on my mauve, wool, living room carpet. Blender pen took it right out.
Grandma's Secret Spot Remover is also a great option. I successfully removed Copic B05 from a white down vest a few years ago... I had to repeat them twice, but I just followed the instructions on the bottle. Took every bit of ink from the white fabric.
Amazing stuff. You can find it at Amazon or at Hobby Lobby (usually in a little basket on the table where the cut fabric).
Copics work well to cover up things like bleach stains (white marks on clothes) marks on wood, etc. Pretty much anything that needs some color back in I've used them on, even a planter. I got 1 at Lowes then decided I wanted 2 but the only one left had some chips and cracks. I filled them in, glued them and colored it in with Copics. Looks perfect!
We have VERY rough trim in out kitchen/living room area (1970's) that is dark, dark brown (spiders love it). When we had to do some plastering and painting of the ceiling, some white got into the roughness. Instead of trying to match stain or paint, I just used a black Copic marker on all the spots, large and small, and you can not tell where the white was. I've also used Copics to fill in scratches on wood furniture, fill in missed or hard to get into places when painting. After reading this, I now know how to get it off also. Thank you!
