Default Heat Gun Suggestions

Yep, something smelled realllllly hotttttt and then my old gun quit! The gun I was using was actually one my DH had for years so I have never bought a crafting heat gun. Anyone have any recommendations for me? TIA!

I bought the Marvy Uchida embossing heat tool at Michaels with a 50% off coupon almost 2 years ago, and I've been very happy with it. HTH!

I also vote for the Ranger Heat it Tool! I went through two Marv Uchidas in a very short period of time before I purchased the Ranger tool over a year ago.

If my heat gun was to die I'd get the Ranger Heat It Tool too. I may even buy it before it dies. I like that it is compact and quiet.

Default Heat it!

I had a Marvy for so, so many years. Did the job time and time again. Years of heavy use. However, I read so much about the heat-it tool and decided to try it. OMG! It is almost silent. I can sneak crafting at any time of the day. it get hoy quicker. If you just want to try something new, or improve on your old tool....try Heat-it. BTW...after I started using Heat it, my poor old Marvy died on me. I put it away with a prayer and kiss. Out with the old....in with the new!

Today, I went in search of the Ranger Heat-It Gun.

Hobby Lobby - "we don't carry Ranger products" I turn around and point at the display of Ranger inks, etc. "Oh, well, we don't carry Ranger tools". The only heat gun they had looked cheap, so I mosey-ed on over to Michaels.

Michaels - Only heat gun in the entire store, Martha Stewart. $26.00. The clerk called the manager, and she was told they will only be carrying Martha Stewart from now on.

What the heck?

I think I am done with shopping at Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Seems like I'm stuck with shopping online for everything. *sigh*

I had a Marvy Uchida heat gun and it died on me. I then picked up a Stampabilities heat gun at Hobby Lobby. It's the same style as the Marvy.

After I loaned my heat gun out, I was in Michaels and happened into the embossing aisle - they HIDE the guns! I finally found on hiding on the bottom shelf, next to that melting pot thingy.

Talking

After an extensive online search I decided to order the Ranger Heat It from Amazon.

Is it here yet?

How 'bout now?
