Question Has Anyone Tried Copic "MASK-IT" masking film?

Has anyone tried the new X-Press It "Mask-It" masking film from Copic?

I am curious about how it compares to the Tim Holtz Masking Film, and also to Eclipse Tape.

One thing I like about the Tim Holtz masks is that if they lose their tackiness, you can rinse clean and air dry and they cling again. I wonder if the Mask-It adhesive is the same?

I had heard that there was originally some slight problems with the Mask-It stretching a little when removed, so they might not be so good for long term re-use. I am sure they have fixed the problems but wanted to be sure.

It comes in a large pack and seems like a very good value, and I can't find Eclipse tape anywhere. I also like it that it is clear like the Tim Holtz masking film, so you can see your image and what you are doing to the background at the same time.

Comments, anyone?

I would describe the Copic Mask-it sort of like weak conatct paper. Therefore, you really can't tear it like you might have with Eclipe, but it is fine for cutting and punching. It is a plastic like substance. I'm not familiar at all with the Tim Holtz product so I can not compare.

I can't imagine stretching the product unless you are rippin' it off the surface. I'm sure taking it off nice and easy would prevent most stretching on larger pieces.

I purchased this to replace my Eclipse tape. Here is an earlier post by me asking for replacements.
