Great price for Mono Multi
Just wanted to tell everyone that I found a great price for Mono Multi, my glue of choice now, I love Mono, I know Mama Kimbery, Emily and Sweet Miss Daisy use it too, this stuff is so great, doens't warp the paper at all, used it for all my totes, and they held up GREAT!!
Here is where I ordered it from:
Mono Multi
I paid 1.99 a bottle, which is the same as Penwa.com however, I only paid 3.85 for shipping, and over 25 dollars and shipping is free, this certainly beats penwa.com shipping for 7 dollars. The service at this store was very prompt, they did not charge my credit card until it shipped, and the package came priority mail, packed very well. I will most certainly be ordering from them again as this company met and exceeded my expectations of an online company! They have tons of other products as well. Check them out!

Question on mono multi--how long does it take to "dry" or set up--in other words, how long after layering is there a risk to slip? That is my only "holdout" on buying some--but this is a great price!!!

BTW, a bottle lasts for a long time, you only need a thin little line around the edges (I go all the way around each edge), but a little goes a long way. I made 10 totes and 60 cards with at least 2 layers and used only one bottle of this! A bottle usually lasts me a good 2-3 months.

I am a fan but I do think it is a little sticky on your hands. That might just be the way I am using it though!
There is very little slippage. Maybe 2 seconds where you could move the card around which is nice cause sometime I don't place a layer on right so I just move it a bit till it is right.

How do the projects hold up later. My problem with the mono tape is that they come apart later. Does this hold better? Also, how fast do you have to layer to make it permanent?
Thanks

It holds together great! There is a little play in it for a second or two then it is down tight. I tried to pry a piece of cardstock off after it was glued down and it was impossible to remove. I've only been using it for the past couple of months but I am sold!

Is it available locally (ACM, Michaels, etc.)? I would like to test a bottle before I invest in multiples.

This is all I use anymore. It doesn't come apart like the tape runners do after awhile. No turning back for me. I ordered a box of 10 from Penwa last year. I still have 5 left. But this'll be good when I'm ready to restock!

The Mono Multi sounds like the Zig 2-way glue I like to use. My local craft store doesn't have the Zig glue anymore, so I'm going to look for the Mono Multi. Thanks for the info!

Thanks to a previous thread on here, I tried Mono Multi and fell absolutely in love! It sticks like the dickens, dries fast and without warping the paper, and is soooo much more affordable than tape runners. I don't make cards without it now, so if you're on the fence (as I was about liquid glue), I'd definitely recommend you give it a try. I know Michael's carries it.

Darn it, they only ship to the US. I love the Mono Multi too, but I've never seen it for sale anywhere where I shop ... so I've always purchased online. I always like to have an extra bottle or two, just so that I never run out!

Mono Multi
Hi all, I have just read the thread about the Mono Multi glue, and I am impressed with all the great thumbs up on this product, I am definetly going to give it a try. But, I was also wondering has anyone used this on any other types of items other than for cards, ie: tins, paint cans, other alterable items.
Thank,
Nancy

THanks for the tip.. But my credit card doesn't. $30 dollars later.. I got some of the adhesive you ladies are raving about, some Heide Swap distressers for my scrapping glas and RAK's, some brads and the MM stapler..
Here is another for the "things SCS made me do" thread!

So I tried this Mono Multi because I read so many great things about it--and I really didn't like it! What am I doing wrong??? It was very messy, it oozed out the sides ( I thought I only used a little bit), and my hands left prints everywhere I touched. So ladies who love it, what are the tricks of the Mono Multi usage?? Please share!
