Do you mean after you have put the design on paper and then laminate it?

HI yes I have noticed videos where they use a Laminator to put foil on image - can you use the Couture Creations foil to do this or is this foil only for use in their Go Press Machine

I haven't tried it. I did watch videos where they said the foil from other sources (like Minc) will not work on Gopress but no mention of Gopress foil on others. Maybe find someone with who can test it. All I have is the Gopress. I was wondering (I have an experimental mind) if the tool that will set jewels will let you write with Gopress foil.

I've been playing with foil through a laminator, but I have been doing it with images that have been made using stencils & paste. I can only say that i was advised by a supplier of foil that I was buying from that the TODO brand of foil is only suitable for the TODO machine, as the foil itself has a sticky backing, so will stick everywhere on the cardstock, not just on the design. So, from that info, I would say is your GoPress foil covered with any sort of adhesive on the back? If not, then it should work fine.
Anyone interested in my experiments, here is a link to the fourth post I did, which contains links to the previous three.

I would love to know the answer as well as Couture Creations have released a ton of colours at a very good price (here in Australia at least) but I only have a Laminator.

Default Go Press foil in laminator machine

I used the foil on toner printed paper through a laminator and it was not a success. The printed sentiment looked great but there was a granular cast of foil across the entire foil-covered area. If anyone has any suggestions to improve this process in a laminator, please reply.

Couture Creation's foil is not toner-reactive (which is what thermo web/deco foil is). The laminator does provide some heat, which is what activates Couture Creation's foil, but I doubt you're going to be able to get reliable results in a laminator since the laminator isn't heating the image (enough) to be foiled evenly.

I have also been curious about other foils besides minc and deco foil. I found another brand from a website Binding101 and it seems like it is reactive so works with toner. I am curious how well it works with regular laminators or a minc machine.

Thanks for your input about toner and go press foil. I am going to try a warm iron and my diecut machine and see what happens!
