Default Favorite Scoring Board?

Those of you who ordered the Top Score Multiboard from HSN - do you have it yet and how do you like it? I've read about the ScorPal and ScorIt too - just wanted to hear any opinions on all three. Or - if this has already been posted in another thread, I'd love to have the link (search function isn't working for me right now.) Thanks!

Well, I just got the Top Score Multiboard (about a week ago). I picked it for the price (okay, so maybe I'm a little cheap), but don't care for it at all. I will be selling it and buying one of the others. I have found that if I use the "wrong" end of the tool I get a better score, but I still am not happy with the results. I think maybe the channels that you run the tool in are too big. Not sure, but that's my thought. It seems to give a really harsh/wide score. I'd love to hear from other people on this if anyone else has used the Top Score Multiboard. So, my personal recommendation would be to try one of the more popular, but slightly more expensive boards. I think I am going to try the Scor-Pal.

I don'd have either yet...but have heard the most positives about the Scor-Pal. My lss sells the Scor-it but it is $60...I guess I will be purchasing the Scor-Pal via the internet.

Scor Pal Scor Pal Scor Pal. I have both the original and the new one...did I say Scor Pal? The owner Diana Crick is so wonderful. Also being a member company here I would not hesitate to order from her.
Blessings.

For those of you with the score pal, how can you tell the difference between the old one and the new one?

My friend bought that scoring board off HSN from the same show that debuted the new Crop-a-dile. She received it last week and after 5 minutes of playing with it, I advised her to send it back and get the ScorePal. It's about the same price.

I found the HSN board hard to get a good score line, the score was too wide, and generally not very impressive.

Hi Carolyn!

I just ordered my Scor Pal today!! I'm so excited, and I could justify the expense to my DH because I'm making 400 invitations for my sister's wedding.

I have the Scor-It...large and mini. (Purchased with coupons at Archivers). I tried out both before purchasing. I got a perfect score the very first time with the Scor-It. With the Scor Pal I had to figure out just how much/little pressure to apply. I decided to go with the Scor-It because I didn't want to keep messing up cards if I got the 'touch' wrong. Make any sense?

The Top score I think is more for decorative than scoring a crease.

I have a Score-it and love it!!

Guess I'm in the minority here. I bought a top score and love it! I get great scores from it and haven't had any difficulty with the tool. I love that I can make boxes SO easily and envelopes too! I probably won't use the decorative scoring options. All that said, I've never used the Scor Pal so I can't compare the two.

I have the top score and it's ok - I use it to crease cards but that's it. From what I've seen can be done with the Scor-pal - I want one !! trouble is shipping to the UK is sooo expensive :-(

I love my Scor-It. I haven't tried the Score Pal, but I am very happy with the Scor-It. I have the original large one. As I don't travel with it, I like the large size.

I have the scor-it and LOVE it, I like being able to score wherever I want, and not having the paper move around on me at all. I have seen the score pal and I would worry about trying to score at odd places (6-15/16), trying to figure out where to place the paper, trying to make sure it stayed straight, then trying to get a good score.

No regrets here on the full size scor-it. I did the modifications to mine just like they talk about on their site and I love mine, never lose my scoring tool, it stands up nicely and is not really all that heavy to take with me if I need it!

Check around for the scor-it if you can't get it at archivers. I found mine on sale and got it for $55 including shipping. I got it over a year and a half ago, but I know there are still deals out there to be found to get it cheaper.
