Default The "Enveloper"

Does anyone have this tool and do you find it useful?

TIA,

I have this and don't like it. I found an evelope temp-plate on line that I like really like. You can take your printed paper ( I made all my christimas envelopes last year this way, everyone loved them) and put it in your printer and print off the envelope design and then just cut and fold and tape, or glue. It was sort of time consuming, seeing how I made about 75 envelopes this way, but they are very pretty. You can use any kind of printed paper you want. Here is the link http://desktoppub.about.com/library/weekly/envelope.pdf I hope this link works , you may have to cut and paste it.

I have it & really like it. It is my favorite envelope maker yet. I've owned several different templates over the years. I find they take way more time than using the enveloper. Plus, I like that you can use it to make an envelobox to hold cards with things like foam tape & raised embelishments. It is a real time saver & really easy to use. JIL

I make all my envelopes with the Scor-Pal, so easy peasy. eP carries the enveloper in their online store:

I have the Enveloper and I LOVE it!!! I also have the Scorpal and NEVER use it for envelopes- the Enveloper is SOOOOO much easier and faster.

HSN has it on sale right now, along with the Top Score board. Here's the link:

http://crafts-sewing.hsn.com/crafter...44&ccm=CT|5544

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I love the enveloper! I bought mine online from Joann.com when they had a 50% off one item sale. I may have paid around $10.00. I prefer using my white bone folder to score the lines instead of the included tool..just my personal choice. I was able to take their basic size chart for the envelope box and tweek it to make it fit my card. I used my inexpensive cardstock to make practice envelopes first. Good luck!

Have it and love it - you can whip out an envelope in seconds.

Just an FYI -for A2 envelopes, adjust the paper size to 8" square (the instructions say to use 8 1/4", which comes out too big). HTH!

Ladies......The Enveloper and Top Score are based on European measurements which are a tad larger than those used here in the US. Therefore, your envelopes will come out too large for an A2 card and the Top Score will be a tad off also for card measurements. That's why they don't give actual measurements on the product, only letters.

I want my envelopes to fit the card, not be oversized.

I have both these products and don't use them. Too difficult to get the measurements correct to fit my card of project.

I feel the Scor-Pal is the best craft tool for scoring for any project at all. Plus the website is super for projects and ideas.

Here's a link to a chart that Creative Companion made for us American's. It lists all our envie sizes and what lines we should use. Here's the link: http://www.crafterscompanion.com/ind...WPROD&ProdID=2

Scroll down to find the chart. It's in PDF. I printed mine out and keep it with my enveloper.

I have all the scoring tools. I adore my enveloper. I use it all the time to make quick, pretty envelopes. I love we can make envie boxes with it.

I have both the Enveloper and the Scorpal. I guess I like the Enveloper more for making envelopes as I like envelopes with triangle flaps that fold into the centre if you get what I mean. The scorpal is great but a bit of work if I wanted that effect for the envelopes, aligning the corners somewhere on one of the scor lines. I also have the Top Score and use that if I want a simple box. I would use the scorpal for more complicated construction as it is great for making triangle and pizza boxes.

I would love to have this chart, but when I click the link, it says the page has been removed. Any ideas where to find it?

They have the enveloper and top score board for $24.95. I've never ordered from here. Do they have good customer service and fast shipping?

I have yet to make a useable size envie from the Enveloper. Their A2 is NOT A2 size and I can't make a 5x7 card envie either. I hate it right now.

Now that's a great idea. I can't stand the tool that came with it, so I haven't been using it. Now I'll give it another whirl!
