The Envelope Punch - We R Memory Keepers CHA 2013
Saw a link for the CHA Top 20 and this one really jumped out at me. I like the idea of using all my coordinating but I don't really like anymore DP to make envelopes easily. Wonder what the price point is going to be.
The Envelope Punch - YouTube
ETA price is $19.99 starts shipping end of month.

That's incredible. I have the Crafter's Companion enveloper, but I have to tell you, I don't use it much because it's such a pain. I might just invest in this envelope punch, for 19.99, that's a great price!

I see on the comments people want to know maximum sizes. That would be important to me too as I tend to do cards that have a front of 5.5 x 8.5 inches. I hope this won't be too small. Although it may just be that I can't get a big envelope out of the paper size. I'm guessing that the largest would be for a 5.75 x 5.75 just because of paper limitation. But I really do think this product answers a lot of end user issues.

I soooo need this!
If I had to guess on the max size, you can probably use it for unlimited sizes for the punch, but maybe the score line would have to be done on another scoring board? The 2 sided punch alone is worth $19.99 I think.

That's kinda fun. I don't think I'd mind the $19.99.

I've made 6.5" square envelopes from 12" paper using the Enveloper, no problem. I think I could have made them a bit bigger too, I just never needed them any larger. I do think the scoring part on the envelope punch would limit you on larger sized envelopes, you would have to start scoring on the envelope punch and finish the score on another score board. Which would be annoying and I wouldn't get it then. I'd be interested in knowing what the largest size it could make as well.

I must be envelope challenged. I have had to redo this method more often than not, but it is a good method. I just don't want to spent my time making an envelope a bazillion times.

Thanks so much for sharing this, Kristen. VERY COOL tool. Makes envelope making easy peasy.
I love when companies come out with innovative new products. Adding this to my wishlist. Very reasonable pricing, too.

Glad I don't seem to be the only one that is envelope challenged.
Also, the one all in one tool vs the multiple tools is a selling point for me.

Franticstamper.com has this for preorder with a delivery in early Feb 2013. I think I need one of these because I never make envelopes as good as I would like.

A local shop owner sent this video out via email today and my first thought was - oh, I just made an envelope from scratch last night. . . it's no big deal. . . I don't need this.
I watched it.
I NEED and WANT this tool!! Just think of all the cool things you can make envelopes out of! It is one of the neatest things I've seen in a long time.

Before taking this as gospel this is a complete disclaimer and remember that my math fails me in making envelopes and that is why I am looking at this...
I'm thinking that the largest measured side is 5 inches (those are the measurements on the board) so
A squared + B squared = C squared then 25 + 25 = 50 and the square root of 50 is 7.07
I may have this wrong. But if I am correct, for me that leaves the board a bit small for my needs so I will have to think about it. I'm still finding it tempting as my scoreboard is always out anyway.

I'm headed to Phoenix in a couple of weeks so hopefully one of the LSS will have it by the end of the month. In Canada it always takes longer for us to get "new" things. But, if I can't get it in Phoenix, then my LSS here in Calgary carries We R Memory Keepers so I'm sure we'll get it eventually. I just don't want to pay the crazy shipping to Canada if I order online. This looks like a must have tool for me, I make all my own envies! Now I can get perfect corners with this tool and put away my scissors!

The Flamingo Scraps site now says it's "out of stock" with no add to cart button. They must have pre ordered a bunch and they're all spoken for.
My Michaels and Joann's are way out of touch for new things, except for Martha Stewart stuff. I'll have to get it online. I think it's cool!
