Default Embossing? I'm lost.

I love dry embossing. Right now I just use a stylus and do freehand designs. I have one circle template that is really for drafting, but it works! But I see all of these embossed papers you ladies use, and I really want an embossing system. I am not interested in cutting, as I have the cricut and scal. What do you think? What is your favorite system and what are the pros and cons? Also, if you could give me a roundabout cost estimate, I would sure appreciate it. TIA for sharing your expertise!

When I first started dry embossing I used the Fiskars Scrapboss. I've collected almost all of the stencils. What I really love about this system, is that I can add just a touch of embossing right where I want it, or I can emboss a whole card front. I can also mix and match several designs from different stencils. You can see the Fiskars scrapboss on the Joann website. They also make a smaller system called Shapeboss. The Scrapboss can also use the smaller stencils of the shapeboss. I totally love this system, and even though I have a cuttlebug, I still like the variety and placement of designs that I can have with the Scrapboss.
