I just saw this product this morning. Has anyone every tried it with their markers? Does it work? Looking to get an air-brush system for my alcohol markers and was wondering if this was worth the money I'll be paying for it. Thoughts & Opinions???
I'd look on eBay for a cheap studio compressor and purchase the Copic system. I've read so many negative comments about this one. I've actually held my other brands of markers just right, trial and error, and have been able to use them. I use a cheap neo airbrush. a little over 30 bucks with Hobby Lobby coupon, and used inks in it. In fact, the sky is the limit as long as you use airbrush cleaner after use. It's quick 'n easy once you get the hang of it. I cut my own stencils, along with purchasing some beautiful ones. Any other airbrush fans out there, jump in.
I really like using different pens with it and not having to fill up with ink (the other airbrush I have). Not sure what problems others are having, but I haven't had any.
I've used my Copic, Sharpie, Tombow and StampinUp/CTMH pens with no problem. It's one of my favorite tools.

Good to know. I know there were a lot of negative reviews when it was first released, but it may be better now. It could be it was just a learning curve.
I too bought this, and it came with the add on items. I tried it out right away, in case I decided to return it, and found it easy and quiet to use! Worked not only with my Copics, but with other markers I had as well. Got such good results, I decided to keep it. I mainly use airbrushing for backgrounds for my stamped images, but this was so easy to use, that I find myself using it for stencils now too as well as the airbrushed look. I agree with darlenemcg, it was a good purchase for me, and so much easier than hauling out an air compressor!
Well, I decided to buy it and try it. After doing research on other airbrush systems, not many offer the ease of using with our Copics, Spectrum Noir, or other markers, not to mention the ease of making this portable. That's what I liked about it.. not having to mess with different inks. My next question is, can I do this at my desk in my craft room or will I have to move that part of the project outdoors? I don't want ink overspray everywhere. Just wondering.
I just looked at the e-brush and really wanted to get it but was afraid of the bad reviews. I think I'll go for it.
Peezie, you don't have to go outside to air brush. You can cut out one side of a large paper grocery bag to make a "tent" to protect your work space if you really think you're going to have a lot of over spay.
Thanks all of you for your comments and tips. I'm really excited about trying this lil baby. Hope it meets my expectations! JoAnns did have the best price, in case anybody else is thinking about getting one. $99!

You could use your craft mat and wipe it off with alcohol or water, depending on what type of markers you're using. I use a coupon and get the large pads of plain craft paper for projects that may get messy. Works great, and I don't have to worry about newsprint transfer.
I use the eBrush at my craft table. My work area (because there's other stuff on the table too LOL) is about 17" x 11".
I usually have a scrap paper about 2-3" bigger than my project. When I'm working on a card front I just use a letter size paper. It really just depends on what your comfortable with.
Received my e-brush and returning it. I tried using it with Spectrum Noir, Sharpie, Copic, and Tombow and the only one that give a remotely smooth application is the SN. All other pens give a spotted look and that is not what I want for an airbrushed look.
In general the product is hard to use based on finding the right position for the marker and the marker holders fall off. I found that only the highest power level has enough power to get any results.
I suppose if you only use SN markers (I use Copics) and you don't mind a spotted look it would be ok, but definitely not worth the $$$.
When I first started using the eBrush I got the spotty look but the more I played with it the easier it was for me to get the smooth look.
Copics and SN are the best pens for a smooth spray IMO. I have an airbrush that I use ink in and don't think you can ever get that smooth finish using a pen. But I like the ease of the eBrush (i.e., just changing pens for different colors).

I agree. There's just no substitute for an airbrush. My studio compressor sits right by my desk with two airbrushes attached and ready. All I have to do in turn it on and add ink or paint to the cup. I have a Copic attachment I can attach with quick connect. There's no digging my airbrush out, super convienent and easy. Cleaning the airbrush is quick using my spray waste jar. Just swish out the cup, put a couple droppers of water in the cup, followed by diluted air brush cleaner and it's ready to go the next time I use it.
