Default which double-sided adhesive tape?

currently i have the x-press it tape & elizabeth designs tape. so far i dont really like either though i'm not sure why. can you recommend another style/brand of double-sided adhesive tape? i'd prefer something i can tear by hand & that wont be eternally set in place the moment i set it down. thanks so much!

If you know a SU demo, the tear n tape is easily torn and is a great adhesive. But it isn't repositionable. To be honest, I don't know of any tapes that aren't completely stuck the moment you adhere them… Hopefully, someone will chime in if there is one

I can't recommend a tape, I usually buy generic stuff at craft shows. But completely agree with Adriana, as far as I know, all dst is permanent the second it touches cardstock. One thing you can do is smear a little liquid glue onto the dst, that will give you a bit of wriggle room. I've recently ditched buying dst in favour of an ATG, as it's going to work out better value in the overall. Meant to add, you can often release a stuck down piece by heating gently with your heat gun.

thanks! i think ive been unclear about the permanence factor. the tapes i have now are strong but when i first put themdown i do have the option to gently take apart the pieces ive taped together. it usually makes a mess & doesnt always work but its more or less doable. i just want to avoid those tapes that have absolutely no grace period
