Default Does anybody like the eclips? Does anybody else obsess over machines like I do?

Ever since my friend showed me the teeny tiny letters that her Cricut Create can cut, I've been looking at all of the cutting machines. I have a Slice, which I LOVE, but it doesn't cut that small. I've looked at the Silhouette, and LOVE everything it can do, but hate how it's used. My wrist really starts to hurt if I'm playing with the mouse that long. I've ruled out the Cricut because the cartridges are so expensive (yes, I know how much they are on sale) and they take up so much space (the cartridges, not the Cricut.) I've ruled out all of the computer only cutters, like the Pazzles, Gazelle and the klik n kut for the same reason I ruled out the Silhouette.
Other than the Slice, the one that looks the most like I'd really enjoy using it is the ecraft by Craftwell, but I don't like their designs. Although I heard they are asking for designers, so they'll probably have some great new stuff in the future.
And then I came across the eclips. I love some of the designs, but the cards seem expensive for as few images are on them.
So, what do you think? Do you obsess over machines like I do? I know I'm just too dang picky.

I have been looking at that one too. I haven't read any reviews on it yet so I think I am going to wait a while. I have my Cricut and my Slice and love them both so I am not in immediate need. I am going to keep looking and dreaming though!

I was really eager for the reveal, but have calmed down quite a bit. I don't care for the images on the carts. Most of the cuts have a cartoonish/hand-drawn/disproportionate look.

I love Sizzix and was so gung-ho about the eClips. I'll wait a while and see how it evolves. I read that there will be software, so that'll take care of welding and such. Maybe a new batch of carts will be more realistic. Not everyone is scrapping/crafting for little kids. I have the same problem with a lot of the Cricut carts, especially the releases in the past 6 months or so. Lots of girly and kiddie stuff.

I do obsess over machines, which is why I have 2 KNKs, a Cricut E, a Big Kick, a Big Shot Pro, a Slice, about a million punches, and about 2 million dies.
Hi! I'm ISO the Fun Stampers Journey stamp "Say Cheese" AT-0167. Thank you!
