Default Dahle trimmers

Okay, girls tell me about the Dahle trimmers. I have looked in them and think they might be just the trimmer I need. However, I want one that can cut a 12 x 12 paper. The 507 looks like it can handle 12 inch paper, but only if it is 8 inch wide.

Is there one that can handle 12 x 12 paper?

Also, how much desk space does it take?

Thank you for all your help!

I have a Dahle Vantage 15E. I just measured the box so the measurements will be a little generous - 23" x 13". The reason it is still in its box is because it doesn't have measurements smaller that 1/4". I'm a little OCD about exact cuts so maybe if I practiced a bit I could 'eyeball' the smaller cuts but just don't have the time - want to get a project done without having to recut my c/s. I like that it is a heavyweight and has the arm that comes down to hold the paper as the guillotine blade cuts so I never sent it back. It says that it can cut 15 sheets of paper (probably copy type paper). The measuring gauge at the top shows large measurements up to 12".

I had a 507. I loved it. I recently broke it. It's NOT that breakable, I have special breaking things powers.

anyhow to cut a wider than 8 inch cut I'd just meaure with the ruler on the track, mark it with a pencil dot, turn and cut.

I have the Making Memories cutter now and it is VERY similar. ANd the base can fold out so I don't have to do that weird measure/mark/cut thing.

where are you looking? I got my Dahle at Oozark and they were fantastic.

I have the Dahle 440 and it is a great trimmer. I have been using it for about 1.5 years with no problems. It cuts straight every time. I think it cuts up to 14 inches and the grid across the top is 12 inches. It does take quit a bit of table space though (it measures 14 x 22").

Thank you everyone for all the info! I am leaning towards the Dahle 550. The best I can find it is for 129. Not too bad.

Thank you again!
