Do you run die cuts through it? I'm wondering if that puts more strain on the rollers than the embossing folders. It should hold up to either one (hopefully) over time.
I've only used mine with the folders and haven't used it very often, so it's still like new. That's an interesting point now that it's been out for a while. I'm curious if others have seen similar results as you.
I have had mine almost a year..i use the dies, embossing folders and also my nesties..Do you flip your b plates? i alternate them top to bottom turn around, , just flip them different ways..i don't seem to have any problems..i haven't had to buy new plates"yet"..wish i could help more..loves ya

If it's really noticeable, perhaps trying a new B plate, or even 2 new ones, might make a difference? I just wonder if the plastic might compress a bit over time?
I have had mine for over a year and I also have done 1000's of embossings with it. I make a lot of soldier cards with it. I have never had to replace any of the plates and I do also use it for the dies. You may have just gotten one that was not 100%. I am sorry to say that. I love my bug and would definately replace it if it decided it was done....
While using a Friend's cuttlebug it seemed to lose steam/tension.
She brought the shelves up and then back down again.....the tension adjusted itself. After t every 12 or so runs, I'd flip them up and back down.
She was told to do that every once in a while.
Hope this helps.
