Good question! Right now, mine are just stacked in a Longaberger bread basket...flip file style. Not liking it, but at least I can see most of them (and the few Sizzlits and QK's I've been testing with). Subscribing!
I have mine in a photo storage box (cardboard type, from Michael's, when they are on sale they are 1.50-1.99, reg price 3.99). I'm using the dividers that come in the box as well as the packaging from the dies/folders to separate/identify the contents. I found a green one with caterpillers, etc on it - I thought that was appropriate for the 'bug accessories... Would love tp hear other ideas...
Subscribing for ideas too! Right now I only have Sizzlits and 2x2 Cuttlebug dies flip-file style (as someone else called it) in a silverware drawer organizer tray that is 3" wide and 9" long. My A2 CB embossing folders are in a clam shell box that our stamps come in. BUT I have some full size Sizzix dies due to arrive Tuesday and I"m not sure how to store them. I keep my CB and dies in a large tool bag though and there's still room for more. So for now, I'll probably just stand them up in there on the side. The tray I mentioned fits in there perfectly too!
I don't have cuttlebug dies -- yet! LOL But if/when I get some they will go with my Sizzix dies. I bought a storage shelf @ Hobby Lobby on sale... it was a metal one that was made well (not flimsy). All my Sizzix dies stack so well on the shelf. I have about 3 sets of Sizzlits stored in baseball card sleeves in a notebook. But two sets I have not bought sleeves for, and they are in the original Sizzlit holder boxes, sitting on those shelves. I really like it a lot because it's so easy to pick out the die I want to use!
Subscribing to this also. I would love the hear ideas. My stuff is still in the opened messy packages right now. I need ideas on how to store everything too. I mostly have the alphabets right now for my scrapbooking.
I love my storage! I saved the plastic boxes from my TAC stamps when I stored them in CD cases. The boxes are perfect for cb storage! I have the embossing folders in one box and the dies in another. I'll be following this thread to see what others are doing!

I found my baseball card sleeves at Hobby Lobby in the department that has coin and stamp collecting. Seems like Walmart would have them, too, but I'm not sure where. I bought some there a couple of years ago, but it was a special display sitting out by the cash registers not sure which department that would fall under.
I just checked and the perfect size would be the storage pages for slides. My dies are the exact same size as some slide mounts that I have. So you might check the photo department to see if they have pages for slide storage or look at the photo albums and see if they have replacement pages for slide storage. Take a die with you just to be sure because I haven't actually tried to put a die into the sleeve, but sure seems like it would work.
Or better yet buy a box made for storing slides it should hold them perfectly, plus the ones I've seen have little slots so they would stay in place. I haven't done an internet search, but I'm sure you can turn up lots of cute options.
Calling all BUGGERS! How do you organize... *Merged*
your Cuttlebug accessories?
First, if you don't know what a Bugger is, then be sure to read post #912 in this thread!
Since I bought my bug a couple of weeks ago (yes, I was bitten early on ), I've been wondering how best to organize my embossing folders and dies... I really wanted to save my money for more CB supplies, and not on an organizational tool, but I gotta have all my stuff together and it's gotta look cool too. So, I started digging around in my 'spare supplies' closet and found this little half-sized notebook I'd bought a while ago (it's a Wilson Jones Binder that fits 5.5"x8.5" pages). Perfect.
Then I pulled out some manilla pocket folders that came from a project that never saw light... I figured they'd be great for holding the card-sized embossing folders.
Now, how to keep all my folder and die sets together? Couldn't come up with anything, so I trotted off to the local Office Depot to see what they had. I found these really cool looking dividers on their clearance rack, and had to pick up a few of them. Then, I came across these clear stick-on sleeves made to hold CDs/DVDs in a presentation binder!
I trimmed up everything to fit in the binder, stuck the DVD holders on the newly made tabbed pages, punched holes, rounded corners, added labels (cut with my Word Window punch), and 'craft' velcro spots (they are WAY nicer than the regular ones I've been buying in the sewing department)... and here's the results of my evening! I know the binder isn't stamped and decorated yet so won't meet the creative criteria of many, but that's next
What are you doing to organize all your stuff, Buggers and BSers?
Great idea! I still have my stuff in a pile on my desk.:( I was thinking maybe a CD holder or a floppy disk holder? I have to check sizes first. Maybe a small photo album that loads from the top?
what a good idea! I have a binder like that just sitting around waiting for a purpose. maybe it'll have one now? (if I can find it??? lol!) so all I need are the CD pockets, and folders. it's just so neat and compact.
hehe but when will you run out of room? you know you'll have to get more than it'll hold eventually. hehehe

When I saw the "Calling all Buggers" I thought it was going to have to be reported because of the other meaning of the word. Thank goodness it's completely clean.
I got one of those expandable letter holders at Target for a couple bucks and put my dies and embossing folders in envelops (since the bottoms don't attach), then labled all the dividers by type. It works great because it is big enough to hold the large embossing folders, but small enough to tuck away in my desk (I lack space for my stampin stuff so compact is a must!).

Oooh, that's a cool idea. I am sure I have one of those laying around here somewhere too TFS.

So far it works! I figure I'll probably outgrow it one day... soon if I keep collecting them as quickly as I have been... but I figure I can just get another one and seperate them by type or something like that.
Thread about storing/organizing cuttlebug dies & folders...
I *thought* I saw a thread on what people are doing for storing and/or organizing cuttlebug dies and embossing folders... can someone point me in the right direction for the thread?
If not, then let's start one! How are you storing/organizing your dies and folders?
I have mine in one of those cardboard photo storage boxes from Michaels (appropriately, it's cuttlebug green and is decorated with various very cute bugs!)
I have seen others who have used a wire flatware divider from home depot or walmart and a Longaberger basket.
someone (Ack!!! I thought I saved the pictures!!! and now I don't know who!) posted pictures of a notebook with notebook dividers that had pockets! I thought this was a really super idea!

Ok... So now, those of you with alphabet sets, how are you storing/organizing THOSE!?!
They're too long for baseball card sleeves (which is the idea I really love for the smaller dies and folders) ... but what about those pesky long alphabet dies?

Hey, Anna, what about those storage type page protector sheets for long side stickers???
Doesn't Cropper Hopper make those? I would think those would have wide enough channels . . . hmmmmmmm

I wonder if you could put the alphabets in zipper school bags...like for pencils. Would they fit in there? I dont have any of the alphabits yet so I am not sure what size they really are.
BUT I like Julie's Idea of the protector sheets. Creative Memories used to have some years ago...(I think they were called great lengths accessory binder protectors and held 6 or 8 per sheet)

OMG!!! I even have the CM tote. It's up on a closet shelf. I need to drag it down, dust it off, toss all those stickers, and USE the darn thing!!!
