Can somebody please help me again? I read somewhere that a member made a really nice tag with a rounded top using a circle punch. I wanted to try that myself today - but failed completely! I thought I would just insert the cardstock halfway into the punch but then I have a half circle but I need the "longer bit" for the tag.. I know it will be totally easy if somebody is explaining that to me but at the moment I don't have a clue... PLEASE HELP!

Um, I've not tried to do that. But...maybe you could punch out the circle and tape it to a longer bit, and then trace that whole thing and hand-cut it out...that's how I would do it. Or um, you could find the member who did it and pm her to get her attention (maybe she doesn't look at the forums).
Hi, I hope I can explain this correctly. Your tag strip should be just a bit less than the diameter of the circle punch. Turn your punch over and insert the strip from the front and pull it through the hole of the punch. You can then make the tag as long as you need it. Then punch to get the rounded end. This can be done with the tag punches as well. Hope that helps.
Can someone show what its to look like so I can get an idea.

Your directions sound great, but I'd like to see a picture just so that I am doing it right.
@Jens17 YOU ARE AN ANGEL! I knew it would be quite simple - but I would never ever have thought about punching this way myself. You made my day. Thank you very, very much - also for the picture!:-D
