Has anyone purchased and used this new cartridge? I bought one this month from HSN. I am finding image sizing and blade depth to be issues. Some images are intricate; the multi-cut option did not help. I use my Expression machines for die cutting and have not had problems with any other cartridges.
The new cartridge handbook is so small, and contains only images and function keys for them, making use of the universal overlay pad. There are no specifics about recommended image size limitations/recommendations, product weight, blade depth, and other useful directions. No additional information is on the product website. I have made company inquiries and requested assistance. I am an experienced crafter and card-maker, and muddled through the winter Anna Griffin cartridge, which has the similar format.
I also keyed in the code for the flip-flop card insert, and the "grad" image came up and was cut. Obviously a digital issue there.
Any insight would be appreciated.
You could probably get your questions answered ov at the www.cricut.com website. Go to community, message board then cricut chat. Nw that it has officially been released there are probably several ladies that can help you.
You really wont get any help from customer service. I dont think they trouble shoot cartridges per se.

I think there are some quality control issues going on with her products lately. I bought a set of her new dies (not the TS) on HSN, and they wouldn't cut through my paper no matter what I did. I tried them on my Big Kick, and my mother tried them on her Cuttlebug, neither of us having much luck. I wound up sending them back. I hope your problems are resolved.

I had the same problems with a lot of my Spellbinders dies, but Anna's cut ok in my Big Shot. I bought a metal shim, I have to say I was skeptical, but it really does allow you to get a good cut with the first pass. I wouldn't be without it now. HTH
I too am having difficulties with the directions primarily. I cut without problem some of the more intricate dies and want to use some for stencils. I have an issue with them telling you the handbook is on line and when I went there couldn't find any handbook.I want to make the medallions in some of the cartridges the machine cuts out a square with no score lines. It looks like in summer soirees they do put the score line. That is the case on Sophisticated Soirees on page 3. In the back of most of the cartridges it says to cut four and shows how to fold a medallion which I already know. I wanted it to cut and score like my die from Tim Holtz does.
