I have seen these exploding boxes with layers of mini scrap pages (I think that is what it is). They are made with the TBB&M Cartridge. Does anyone know how to make them? Or know where I can find directions? There are a few on the boards on the Cricut site in the section for the cartrdige.
Thanks
I saw this when you first posted...is there any way you could find one and post a picture? I gotta tell you, I have a hard time imagining a box made with that cartridge big enough to use as a scrap anything! They are all so small...
Oh, and you might get more feedback if you post down in the Tools forum, right underneath General Stamping...most of the threads about Cricut have been moved down there. There's also a Cricut users forum at www.cricut.com that has a ton of folks...you might find answers there.
I will be interested to see what you come up with, since I DO have that cartridge, lol!
I LOVE this cartridge... the boxes are somewhat small - I use the "shopping bag" cut at 5 1/2" to hold 3x3 cards (abt 5+envelopes) plus mini gel pen to give you some sort of an idea... there is a posting somewhere on the cricut message board that gives all the sizes for the various boxes & bags cut at max too - will look for that again in a minute.
To assemble these is SOOOOO easy, the cricut make little cuts on the corners and you just fold along the line - i usually use a bone folder to score my folds as I am usually working with SU! cardstock. I used the library pocket cut at 4" (maybe 4.5") on my accordian cards in my gallery, and the inside tags for these pockets were cut using size abt 1/2 of pocket total length - so in this case the tags were 2" (maybe 2.5")... it does take a little playing around with it, but I really enjoy using it for making tags and pockets for my cards and scrapbook pages, as well as holders for the little cards I like to make!
HTH!!
will post link on the cricut message board re" final sizes as soon as i find it again!
I thought the explosion box and little album inside were made using a Cricut cartridge (Bags, Boxes, Tags and More) as I saw pics of them on the Cricut web boards for that cartridge category. But after searching Google for "Explosion Boxes", I found several sites that have directions and apparently, the Cricut was used to make embellishments for the box, not the box and album.
OMG, will you people never stop, now I have another web site and addiction. I just spent 30 minutes looking at cards on that site. I want a nap do you hear me I want a nap.
HHHHHHHHHHEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP
Thanks again gang

OK, that makes more sense, lol. Sorry it wasn't the answer you were looking for, though!
We have a great little Cricut thread going in the Tools forum. Come and join us!
