the hand held one? i got one at joanns about 2 weeks ago, used it 2 times and returned it...wouldnt punch anything! i have the large one that they sold on qvc and have seen at acmoore its ok but rather bulky and really nothing can cut the thin tin sheets for magnet boards, just chipboard and paper
yeah, the we r memory keepers one. I want it to mostly round corners on 5 mil laminating sheet (after it's been laminated)
I can tell you most definitely that it will work on that - I've used mine for that very purpose.
I can also tell you that I wasn't able to find it at either my Michael's or JoAnn's - but both stores in my town seem to be the last to get new stuff. JoAnns online has it right now, but you won't be able to use a coupon; it's already on sale (and not for 50% off)
I'd love to hear some more reviews on this product. I'm been contemplating the investment because I never seem to be able to find the corner rounder I need. Like the idea of having two different sizes in one tool and being able to 'chomp' through the corners of a folded card.

Pam - I really, really love mine - enough that I am getting the one that does a ticket corner as well. With all my other corner rounder punches, sometimes I don't get the paper in there quite right and the corner comes out wonky. With the corner chomper, that's never happened. They will chomp thru the corners of a folded card like a hot knife thru butter (easier than my other rounders go thru a single layer of cardstock). I've also used it on chipboard and laminated cardstock and they work like a dream. You do want to be diligent about emptying the scrap catcher, though.
They are bigger and clunkier than a standard hand-held paper punch, but not quite as big in the handles as a Crop-A-Dile. Also, you wouldn't want to drop it on your toe

Can anyone validate that rumor about We R going out of business? Sheesh. That would be awful.
I just checked their facebook page, and there's a post on there about their February 2011 collection. Maybe just that particular store (Beverly's) is discontinuing them?
