Default Copic storage?

I just started getting Copic Sketch markers. How do you store them? I bought 30 markers and haven't a clue how to store them.
Thanks for your help!

I just bought these to store my copics in. They are called X-cube Shelf Savers and can be gotten at Office Depot for about $10 each. THe cool thing is, as your collection expands you can buy more. They come with clips so you can arrange them anyway you want and they stay together. PLus your copics stay horizontal, which keeps both ends nice and moist.

I really like that, as it allows for growth. Anyone have something like that for less that $40 though? Is it easily portable (from shelf to work table)?

Marianne Walker had suggested this rack http://www.azardisplays.com/productc...idproduct=1047

Personally, I'm using a Pampered Chef Lazy Susan utensil holder, but the quantity of markers is making it hard to keep them arranged by code.

Thanks for both of those suggestions. They are great. I can see that the Copic markers are addictive!

Default copic storage

copic makes cute clear storage containers that hold them and have a lid to carry them if you take them somewhere. They have one for the original and the sketch. I like to see mine in order so this is great. I saw this on a great blog..http://trudee.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2008/02/17/copic-storage-and-tips/.
My local LSS sold them.

This is where I got my case.

They are $4.75 for a 36 set container and $8.00 for a 72 set.

I considered these but I dont know why you'd want to store your copics vertically?

I use Snapware medium rectangle containers to store my Copic Originals. I can fit about 40 of them in each layer. It's expandable and relatively inexpensive. You can see the colors through the sides. I can also bring them to a friend's very easily. Here's a link to a pic of them.

I use this type of container & they can fit the Sketch markers too. The only downside is that when there are several trays stacked, the lid cracks from all the weight. I wrote to Snapware and they sent replacement for the lid. Make sure you snap the sides well, it can get to be a real hassle when the markers fall off. It happened to me so many times, lol!

I use the Cropper Hopper Photocase 2000! I LOVE it! It has tons of cubbies and I can store them according to color family! Here are a couple pics of mine:

If you don't have room to keep them out on your desk in all of these great containers people have shown you, you can store them in a drawer. That is what I do. I have my drawers sectioned off with dowels. I LOVE it! I don't have room on my desk, and I love having them in my drawers by color family. You can see it here.

My storage cost me around $40. I bought this all here in Japan, but I bet you can find something similar at Home Depot or something.

The clear containers came from our $1 store equivalent.

Thanks for all the great ideas. I think I'm going to go with the Quickutz Magpie storage system. I have one for my Quickutz dies and love it so, adding another for my pens will be great.

Thanks again for all the ideas. I appreciate it!

Default Copic Storage

Hobby Lobby has the copic storage containers and you can use a 40% coupon. They hold 36 markers.

I keep mine in a Pampered Chef Tool Around thingy.. you don't have to keep Copic's laid on their side.. they can be stored either way. Pam

I have a wire silverware basket that I found at Joann's marked down at the end of summer. It holds all 4 sets of markers plus extra sketch colors that I've picked up. I have them divided into color "families" in the different compartments. The best thing is I can just pick it up and carry it with me to wherever I feel like coloring.
