Default comparison of new SP to new SU! scoring

Is there anyone out there who has been able to see these two products (new Scor-Pal and the new SU! Simply Scored) side by side and can tell us about them? Pros and cons?

I don't know if the new SP has this, but I like the place-marker thingies on the SU scoreboard. They're place-marker arrow things that you can slide to remind you where you scored the previous sheet of paper. This would be great for those times I'm whipping out multiples of something. I currently just put a bit of tape where I need it.

Maybe not a big thing, but it's something.

Is the SU Simply Scored in the new big catalogue? Is it a scoreboard like ScorPal & Martha Stewart?

It's in the new Holiday Mini. I've been told that it is sturdier than SP or Martha's

Default simply scored

I saw pictures of them being handed out at convention. I was hoping that some kind hearted demo would spill the beans about it.

I have the Scor Pal and want to know if the mat from that will fit the new SU Simply Scored.

I was going to buy a small scor buddy but after reading this, I'll hang on to my hat until I see the new cattie.

Oh but you really need the scor buddy too! I pull mine out a lot because of the size. It is so great for making cards! I saw the new Simply Scored. I would like to see it in person before I would decide to order it. My Scor Pal and Buddy are both great quality products, but if the new Simply Scored would happen to be good too, I could see myself getting one more for the 1/8 grooves.

Thank you for this thread. I am very interested also. I have the SP and SP Buddy and can't see a reason to buy another board unless there is a MAJOR wow thing on the SU version. I'm on the fence about the littler marker thingies. The first thing I thought when I saw them was "uhoh, more small pieces to lose".

You can also buy more of the marker pegs....and there is a drawer that opens to keep those pegs in...or even a candy bar like at convention! We got to use it in one of our classes and I think it is pretty slick!!!!

I have Martha's and I won't duplicate items but I'm willing to bet that SU's will be wonderful.

The Stylus really intriques me for some reason. I might end up ordering one in the Pre-order just to check it out.

I actually was one of the lucky winners of the Simply Scored at Convention this year! I had been looking at the SP the past few months (so glad I didn't buy one)! I have only seen pics of the SP and I didn't realize there was a new one, but I just love the SU! SS. It is very sturdy with 8 rubber feet to keep it from sliding. It's marked up to 12 1/4" on every 1/8th inch. It comes with 3 marker things that can be stored in the compartment on the top. I will definitely be getting more of those, but they do snap into place very nicely. The stylus has a small end and a large end, and I have also used my bone folder with it. They all slide down the grooves easily. I love it and think it is well worth the $29.95 which is the same price of the SP. Hope this is helpful!

Default SP mat?

Will the SP mat fit the SU scoring board?
