Just a thought about those two sets of colors.....I was wondering if maybe Stampin' Up would end up combining them in the next catty for an "In Color" family???? There would be 12 colors in that one then?
I haven't bought into those b/c I don't want to have pads that I can't buy paper for in the future....
That would be GREAT if SU would bring the two sets of In Color together for the next Catalog. Most people think they will not do that because that is what makes the "In Color" so "Special".

just a thought but you could buy a blank inkpad . my demo was nice enough to fill my blank inkpad w/ her refill. it's worth asking.
From day one I always thought SU! was going to in colors for a couple of years, and then take the most popular colors and either create a new color family or retire some colors (like orchid opulence and handsome hunter ;)) to make room. It will be interesting to see what they do in the end.

mmmm.... Cool Caribbean instead of Orchid Opulence, and Wild Wasabi instead of Glorious Green..... a girl can dream, can't she?
It is pretty fun, though, to get to play with new stuff every year - and it's nice to know that it'll be around for long enough to stock up on favorites. I have so much CS from last year's In Color that I know I'll be fine for a long time, unless I have a fire or something.

I, for one, love Orchid Opulence! The problem with retiring colors is that every color is some one's favorite. I lost Rose Romance, Positively Pink, And Mauve Mist during the last color retirements. I loved them all and will cry when I've used the last of my paper stash! Most of the replacements didn't do a thing for me. I especially dislike Pixie Pink and Handsome Hunter.
I like the idea of the In Colors. I bought them all last year, sight unseen, and was disappointed in all but Caribbean and Marigold. Vintage Violet was the biggest letdown...I was expecting it to be a rich, deep purple, but it's so drab.
I bought them all (paper, ink, and refills) again this year and absolutely love them all! One can never have enough colors to play with!

Personally I find it highly unlikely that SU would bring last year's In Colors out of retirement. From the onset of their introduction, they have indicated that they were new/hip/popular colors that would only be around for one year.
Yes, but they also say that your one chance to buy "mini catalog" stamps is when the mini catalog is current, and low and behold, some of them made it in this year's catalog!
Can you make a marker from the blender pens and if so, how?
Yes, just drop a few drops from a re-inker. You can use one pack of blender pens to get six marker tips. The marker doesn't run through the whole pen, so they won't blend together.

This is not really accurate. SU LIMITS the number of mini sets that go into the catalog. Your demonstrator may tell you to buy them while you can because we never know which ones are going to make it.

SU! has always said that a few of the Mini sets will make it into the next catalog. It's the Hostess sets and SAB that won't ever be in a future catalog.

yes, i have a thought. i am not a demonstrator, but is it possible to buy stampin spots in the in colors? i know a demo can get like a 12 pack of black. if several demos got a 12 pack of one in color, then everyone could trade a color and have their own set of spots. is that a possibility? i didnt know. but i would be interested in buying into that.
and i especially liked the vintage violet. if anyone wants to get rid of some of that paper, i would be happy to take it off your hands(trade or purchase).
