Default coil binders

I have a BIA and thinking of getting a coil binder. Can anyone suggest a good brand?

Smile Rubi-Coil

I have a Rubi-Coil for several years now and LOVE it. It is easy to use. I purchased it at Bonniesbest.com. Awesome company to deal with. HTH!

There is a punch and guide system by Carl Craft that is really reasonable. I know there are some online stores that sell it, but here's a link to Carl Craft directly so you can see what it looks like. Its only about $30US.

I, too, have the Rubicoil that I bought from Bonnie's Best and it's wonderful!!

I had a different, less expensive ($45) coil binder before (NOT a Carl Craft, so I can't speak about that one), but it had plastic parts. I had only been putting two sheets of 20lb. sheets of copy paper in it, but that was taking too long to punch all the sheets. I decided to try to speed it up by using three sheets and a plastic part inside broke ... right in the middle of a cookbook project. The Rubicoil is all metal parts and so easy to use!! "It will punch six to eight pages of light-weight paper at a time and it will also punch three to four sheets of cardstock, as well as two sheets of lightweight cardboard at a time for book covers!" I am so glad I bought it. It was worth every penny to me.

I also agree with angiecrop about Bonniesbest.com service. http://www.bonniesbest.com/spiralcoilbinding.htm
Got it quickly and she is a pleasure to do business with!!

Another vote for the RubiCoil - I choose it over my BIA pretty routinely.

Default coil binding

I got my rubi coil from laminator warehouse...143.50 and i think free shipping. They have a great price on coils (large amount) but great to share with someone else. Let me know if you decide to get one, I have 5 sizes 100 coils each all in clear....we can share, or I can sell you some of mine so you can try them out
