Default Clipart Pictures

Hi Everyone!

I don't know if this is the correct area to post my question.

I am interested in placing clipart pictures on some of the handmade cards that I will be selling. Do anyone know of a clipart software that I can use and have permission to sell cards with the pictures on them?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know anything about clip art software, but I've had good luck just googling to find clip art to use on cards. Lots of clip art is free, and in the public domain, so you can use it on your cards.

Here is one I found. There are lots of others:

Dover Publications is a good place, all their images are in the public domain.

Dover does have a large selection clip art, but there are limitations on use. The limits are "You may use them for graphics and crafts applications, free and without special permission, provided that you include no more than ten in the same publication or project." If you want to use them more than that, you have to contact them for permission and probably some money. Make sure you get the clip art collections and not one of the books which would be copyrighted.

They have clip art collection books, book w/ CDs & downloads from the website. They are now including some TIF, SVG, PICT, EPS, BMP files, but thery are predominantly JPEGs.
They frequently have sales and if you sign up for the newsletter?, you can get free
samples.

just Google 'free art images' and get various sites that you can scroll through. I use Yahoo free image site most of the time.
