chipboard for die cut machine

Hi,
Am thinking of buying the Big Shot die machine; I really love chipboard and would want to use this to cut out my images. Thing is, I've never seen 'sheets' of chipboard before. Any ideas on what to use that is sturdy to cut like chipboard?

Or, can you buy chipboard in sheets?

The white cardboard pieces that come in the SSK or ask your demo to save the board that comes in catalog boxes is what I have been using.... HTH

Backs of legal pads. Just don't use the backs of the lap pads (the really thick pads) unless you're willing to do some cutting with your craft blade even after running it through the die cut machine. Also, my LSS sells chipboard in 2 sheets of 8" x 8" for 99 cents. A craft store up your way may sell it too.

You can buy packages of chipboard at Hobby Lobby. You have to look in the art department, though. It's not with the scrapbooking stuff. It's with the construction paper and art pads. You can get a package of 12 sheets for about $3.
