Default Can you buy? ......

Hi there everyone.
I am hoping I am asking this in the right place.
I am wanting to know if you can buy craft tweezers but with a long arm. I am in the middle of making a fairy in a bottle, and need to beable to reach the bottom of the bottle to stick things down.
Thanks for any help.

Vicki, thanks for asking this.

I've been wondering that as well... especially when I heat emboss, I'd like to use tweezers to hold my paper at a distance while I have the heat gun on it.

Thanks, Kathy.

Duh, I didn't even THINK to check eBay. :P

I think I may go with these:

I found a 4-pack at Michael's in the beading aisle: one pair was the kind you have to squeeze to open; another had the angled ends; another pair had serrated edges instead of smooth; and a pair of flat-end. (Ted, the ones you have to squeeze to open are particularly good for use in heat-embossing.)

Here is a link to the ones I'm referring to.

I have reverse-action tweezers that I LOVE - these particular ones have a really tight grip and the ends are long and straight so they work great for holding layers together or keeping a bow in place until glue dries. They'd be great for your bottle project, because you wouldn't have to worry about your grip slipping while you place your items inside. This is what they look like - sorry they don't have any indication of brand. The tool measures about 7" from end to end.

Yep! Ask me why I have 2 of each size EK Success corner rounder punches. And two adhesive erasers. Ok, not true on the adhesive erasers - those, I loved the first one so much that I deliberately bought a second because I knew that if I was prepared with a backup in case the first one went missing, it would never disappear. And it worked.

Hubby thinks I have duplicates so that one set can stay in the bag I take with me to craft away from home. He's so sweet and gullible.

Too funny.... you sound just like me.... I have doubles of some things because I intentionally bought a "back up just in case"...and those are the things I don't seem to lose....I only lose the things I only have one of....

Found mine. It was in a drawer. It is not suppose to be in my drawer. Its home is in my Pampered Chef tool turn thingy. I guess it has feet and walked off to the drawer.

I buy long locking tweezers at our local swap meet - they are really inexpensive and come in a varitety of styles. You can find a variety of small tools at this site:
