Buyer's remorse?
So, I had been going back and forth as to whether or not I should get the Big Shot. I already have the old red sizzix and I have a Cricut Expressions. I have use the old sizzix, once in a very long time. I have just gotten some Cuttlebug embossing folders and was just going to use the old machine. I knew it was going to be a pain, but I just couldn't justify spending the money on the big shot. Well, I came into some money and thought I would go ahead and buy the big shot. I did this morning, but now I am having buyer's remorse.
I read alot of threads on here about people saying they love having both. Will my buyer's remorse leave once it gets here and I try out the embossing folders on it?
Thanks!
Corrie

I think once you get it and have an opportunity to use it you will be happy you did it. I just got rid of my old red sizzix because I have the Cuttlebug and the Big Shot. I love them both.
Good luck.
Blessings.

No buyers remorse here! I sold my original red and my cuttlebug on ebay and made almost half of the money back, but even if I had not, I love the bigshot. It's very easy to use and I love the built in cheat sheet on the white plate. I kept my cricut, because I like it for scrapbooking, but honestly I very rarely use it and it may be the next thing I sell. Hope you enjoy your bigshot.

I have the CB & BS and love them both. I bought the CB myself when I started making more than just a few cards for family. Santa brought me the BS for Christmas. I have several friend that bought a die cutting machine because if raved about mine.
One friend has had her CB about a month. She came over a few days ago to get 'pointers' on sandwich recipes and just questions. She also brought along what she has purchased to use in the CB - Wow, she had a instant collections of various EF & dies. I showed her how to cut & emboss her Nesties in one step. We just 'played' and I hope she went home with more information than she had before she came.
I don't scrapbook unless I go on a trip or have photos from a particular event so I just can't justify buying a Cricut. I have used my manuel die cutting machine on almost every card I make. I hope when your BS arrives you enjoy yours a much as I do.

I was talking to "Santa" about adding the Big Shot to my Christmas list just in case he feels generous before Christmas.
Actually I have to describe things several times before Santa knows exactly what I'm talking about. I hope "Santa" isn't around when my SU! starter kit and first order arrives. The only thing he'll be giving me for Christmas is job applications! Ewwwwww!

I am like Gale and have the old red sizzix and 2 cricut but have not regretted for a minute purchasing the BigKick at M's. I use it more than I thought I would and definitely more than my old red one.

I first got the Cricut Expression, then got the Cuttlebug, then got the Big Shot. Found I was using the Big Shot the most, so sold the Expression and the 18 cartridges I had, then sold the Cuttlebug. I LOVE the Big Shot and use it all the time. I really like all of the machines, but found that the Big Shot was my machine of choice, so gave up the others. That way I had more $ to spend on the dies I wanted. I did keep all of my Cuttlebug folders and use them in the Big Shot easily.

I started w/the Big Ol' Red then went to Big Kick (DH purchased). Later, I purchased a CB (only because it was dirt cheap at the time). I also have the Cricut. I use them all & love them in their own little ways......LOL! Honestly, I don't want to part w/any of them.

I can relate to this as well! Hope you will get it before Christmas, because Christmas is still a long way to go!! I have a Cuttlebug and really love it. I just recently bought it, so I can't justify buying the big shot, besides we don't have a place in United Arab Emirates that sells the big shot! My mom always says: "if you're happy, stay happy!" so don't look back ! No buyers remorse!
