I have been a button junkie for years. I love collecting them!!! I have found fabulous ones at Big Lots, Hobby Lobby has fun assortments and garage sales can be a good find too. My best source is clearance at Joann's for the specialty ones that look like flowers or unusual designs.

Buttons are not a new trend to me. I've been using them on cards since I first starting stamping about 4 years ago.

Most of the buttons I use are older or used ones that were in a pint jar I bought at an antique store. Back in the olden days when more people sewed at home, the ladies would always cut off and save the buttons when a garment became too worn to wear. One can find some pretty neat buttons in those jars sold at garage sales, auctions, or antique shops.
