Default Blender brushes with colored handles

I was using the make-up blender brushes with my Distress Oxides and was disappointed with the outcome. I tried to wipe them clean to remove any color before using them on another pad but they still had a residue of the previous color when I blended them out on cardstock.

I recall seeing a set of blender brushes with colored handles so each brush could be used for a designated color group but the price for the set is $49 (not including s&h + tax).   So I Googled them and found them on Amazon for $10.99! At that price I'll give them a try.

I have enough of the brushes that I can use a different one for each colour family.  I am still not thrilled with even these brushes.  I am pretty sure it is my heavy handed touch.

Lorri, I thought I was the only one.  I find that the brushes work pretty well when I'm using stencils, but for regular blending, I still like my large foam daubers/applicators.  The brushes make my blending look spotted and splotchy, even with a very light hand.
