Default Big Shot vs Cuttlebug

I have a Cuttlebug which I LOVE. But I've been looking at the Big Shot and all the SU dies for it. I think that you can use most if not all of the dies in the Cuttlebug. And I think you can use the Cuttlebug embossing folders in the Big Shot.

So for those who have used both, is it worth it to get the Big Shot if I already have the Cuttlebug?

I have the Big Shot. As far as I know, the Cuttlebug can do what the Big Shot can do. I don't think there's any need for you to have both

i have the CB....have had it for about 1 1/2 years. I got the BS when SU came out with it....I have used it way more than I have ever used my CB. To me, it is so much easier. There is a multiuse paltform instead of all the different sized plates to use with different dies from other companies. I love the BS and want to sell my CB.
Just my opinion.....

I had a CB before SU sold the BS. Got the BS, sold my CB and haven't regretted it since. The BS seems sturdier and easier to use. I can use everything that the CB did in the BS.

I have a CB, not the BS ... if I didnt have a CB, I would buy the BS ... but because I have a CB (and a limited budget) I'm not investing in the BS ... that's just me ...

The cuttlebug will not do the bigger dies that the BS will do. I have a friend who got the SU BS bundle and sold her cuttlebug. Just a thought!

The cuttlebug will do the bigger dies, you just have to buy two sets of the Decorative strip cutting pads. Then use two on the top and two underneath the die. The die fits in the cuttlebug, it's just the BS regular cutting pads that are too wide for the CB.
That being said - I have both a CB and a BS. I find Sizzix dies work best in BS and cuttlebug stuff works best in the cuttlebug.
Some people say the Sizzix Bigz dies will break your cuttlebug plates - I guess it just depends on how "tight" your machine is.

I ordered the BS...already have the CB and Revolution....I hate lime green, the CB is tippy and I hate juggling plates.

If you love the CB...there really isn't anything the BS can do that the CB can't do, maybe with a few little purchases of plates...etc...but I just want a change.
