Default Big Kick vs. Big Shot

Just wondering if anyone knows the difference or pros and cons between the two.

They are the same - just packaged differently.

Big Shot and Big Kick are the same machine, just with slightly different shapes and colors.

Big Kick is available at the "big box stores". Big Shot is available at some of the "big box stores" and at independent stores.

They work the same, use the same dies, and can cut/emboss most of the competitors' dies or embossing gizmos.

You just need to make sure that you have a multipurpose platform (which might come with both machines now) and you're good to go.

thank you for the information. I have been seeing the Big Kick at stores but not the Big Shot. Was curious (before I spend my $$$$ if there was an advantage to either one.)

Appreciate the input!!!!

saaaaaaaaaaaaaame, question for me: even with the Big Shot being 2" wider (according to the sizzix website), will it still fit the SU exclusive dies, the biggest ones?
JoAnn's has their scrappin' stuff 40% off this week, which includes the Sizzix, so I've been wanting to go get one, now that SU has such cute dies. And to jump on the bandwagon;)
