We have a local store here that carries them and I also found them from a vendor at the Great American Scrapbook Convention (don't remember the vendor though). So, you're right, there are refills.

I love this ink too. And sometimes use the brown shade (forgot exact name) if I want a more subtle outline.

I use other brands too but this is my favorite if I am going to watercoloring (including using Twinkling H20s).
