Aussie stampers can you help?
I'm looking for a Wagner Heat tool for embossing and haven't been able to locate one. Searching online leads takes me to the Wagner website which is fine, but the retailers they list are Bunnings, Home Hardware etc. and while they carry Wagner products, they don't carry the heat tool I'm looking for. I've checked Spotlight and an aussie online craft site again, no luck. Do you know where I might find one? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dotty

Have you tried googling it? I tried that, and found that Amazon has them. Maybe you could order it from them online.

Ohhhh Dotty.....I had a Wagner Furno 500 heat gun...I burnt a hole clear through my craft desk LOL. Bunnings have them in their online catalogue, you can buy online and pickup in store. There are 3 models, but I certainly wouldn't recommend them for papercraft...way too hot and destroys the cardstock and embossing powder.
Here's the link. Search - Our range | Bunnings Warehouse

I'm not familiar with Aussie websites, are there any you can recommend? I did find one on Jemac Rubber Stamps, but they are out of stock. I emailed them and asked when they might have them so I could order one, and their supplier is no longer in business. I did try Bunnings, but the ones they have are for paint removal/stripping and I only want it for embossing, so those are not advisable. Thanks for any help you can offer!
This is what I'm looking for (I hope the link works)

Dotty I strongly urge you NOT to buy the HT 400 Precision Heat Tool. The heat setting is 340C. Definitely not suitable for embossing powder and cardstock.
I love this online seller. Here is a link to a Couture Creations heat gun $33. They also sell the European version of the Ranger Heat Gun, but you will need an adapter. https://atcraft.com.au/shop/craft-to...tool-heat-gun/
There is another company craftonline.com.au, they stock the Universal Crafts heat gun tool, on special for $25. If you are in Melbourne, send me a PM and I can put you onto a fabulous craft shop called Little Bits in Keysbrough.

Susie, Thanks for the info. Do you use one of the two you have suggested? I've read a few reviews on the Ranger Heat Tool, and most suggest it for drying ink or other mediums, while the "quiet" bit appeals to me, I've read that it's not the best for melting embossing powder. I'm a bit apprehensive about having to use an adaptor as well. I do have a very old heat tool from america that requires the use of an adaptor but also a voltage converter and I'm not comfortable using it.
Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!

Dotty I'm sending you a PM. I'm not a fan of equipment that we have to use an adapter for, mostly because warranty is voided. Chat soon.
